Share
Today is Diwali, so Happy diwali to you. I was chatting to mum about what she was cooking today and she said she was going to make some Gulab Jaman. Gulab Jaman is one of my favourite Indian Sweets.
What is Gulab Jaman: An Indian version of homemade doughnuts dipped in a rose (Gulab) sugar syrup instead of granulated sugar. A tasty favourite and easy to make.
So if you've never tried it before, you may have the question, "What does Gulab Jamun taste like? Depending on the amount of sugar you add to your syrup will determine the sweetness, so feel free to add more or less to this recipe, but are they sweet - absolutely!! With a hint of cardamom and rose, it is absolutely divine.
If they are soaked for a long enough in the rose sugar syrup, they will melt in your mouth.
Quick and Easy to make, alongside being quick and easy to devour. Enjoy and Happy Diwali.
